Publication fee

Publication Fee

All articles published in our journal are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by a publication fee that covers the range of publishing services we provide and which merely covers publication costs such as copyediting fees, indexing costs, promotion and general maintenance of the content of the Journal. The publication fee is due only if the article is accepted for publication after peer-review. By no means EJCRIM acts for profit.

From the 1st of September 2022 the Journal will require a publication fee of 300€ + 22% VAT (366€ tax incl). This increase is due to the increased traffic and costs, it enables us to keeps the journal running.

The publication fee is to be paid when your manuscript is accepted for publication and before production starts.

The corresponding author of the manuscript is responsible for making or arranging the payment (for instance, via your institution) upon editorial acceptance of the manuscript. The payment can be made by anyone, provided that the Editorial Office is informed.

Payment can be made by any of the following methods:

  • PayPal – this is our default method of payment. The editorial system will automatically redirect you to Paypal once the article is accepted. If Paypal does not work in your country, see below:
  • Credit card - payment can be made online using a secure payment method. Please request the payment link to the Editorial Office info@ejcrim.com
  • Invoice and bank transfer - payment is due within 30 days of the manuscript’s acceptance for publication. We will issue an invoice and provide you with the bank details. Please do get in touch with the Editorial Office (info@ejcrim.com)

Failure to pay invoices within the stated credit terms may result in restrictions placed upon the authors' ability to publish with us in the future.
